PARC in the community
The PARC in the Community (PITC) program is designed to assist those who would not otherwise be able to afford access to Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre
Active Pathways, in partnership with Reclink Australia, offers affordable and inclusive pathways to improved health and wellbeing for disadvantaged people in the City of Frankston.
We provide connection and rehabilitation support through TAC or work cover claims, offering access to our Centre with a third-party membership.
Depending on the work cover provider and claim amount this could pay for part of all of your membership fee.
In order to process work cover membership claims we need all the details presented to our membership team in person prior to utilising the Centre. Physios are welcome to attend the first session at no cost, however they will need to pay for entry for subsequent visits. We have qualified fitness professionals that are able to assist with training and programs.
Frequently asked questions
Please email email@example.com with your quote request or visit Customer Service in the centre for a hard copy.
You will need to bring the approval letter to reception or forward it via email to
firstname.lastname@example.org. The approval letter must state the exact amount they have agreed to pay for.
PARC will send an invoice to the company, who will then pay the required amount.
You will receive a text message once the invoice has been paid. Please call Member Experience on 9781 8409 or email email@example.com to organise an appointment to get your membership started.
Please note: It can take anytime from 1 week to 8 weeks for the invoice to be paid by the insurer.
Please speak to Member Experience directly about your current membership.
Your physio is welcome to attend your first visit to PARC at no cost, however they cannot attend on a regular basis. PARC have qualified fitness professionals who can assist with your training and programs.
PARC in the community
Offering positive outcomes for every person regardless of age, background, or ability.
The PARC in the Community (PITC) program is designed to assist those who would not otherwise be able to afford access to Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre to support their physical, emotional and mental health.
To be eligible for a referral to this program, the candidate must be currently experiencing significant financial hardship and be a resident of the City of Frankston. Applications for new PARC in the Community Memberships are currently on hold.
Providing inclusive pathways to improved health and wellbeing for disadvantaged people in the City of Frankston.
The Active Pathways program, offered in partnership with Reclink Australia, is designed to assist those who would not otherwise have an opportunity to access Peninsula Leisure facilities. Through its partnership with Reclink Australia, Peninsula Leisure is proud to offer heavily subsidised memberships to PARC, and visit passes to Pines.
Referrals to this program must be made through a support agency. To be eligible, applicants must be a resident of the City of Frankston, and priority will be given to people facing greater barriers to health and wellbeing including but not limited to those experience financial hardship, from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, living with a disability, at risk of homelessness or intersection with the criminal justice system, recovering from addiction, Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander people, young parents, or from LGBTQIA+ communities.

Yes, you can choose to suspend your membership for up to 26 weeks per calendar year, with suspensions charged at 40 cents per day after 28 days free.
