Update: Easing of restrictions and how these impact PARC

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced a further easing of coronavirus restrictions, with swimming pools allowed to open with limits of 20 people and additional safety requirements in place, from 1 June. The Premier also indicated that if community transmission rates remain low and testing rates remain high, indoor fitness and recreation facilities, such as PARC, will be able to open with up to 20 people per space and up to 10 people per group or activity at any one time, from 22 June.

Whilst we are delighted to hear we are one step closer to PARC reopening, Peninsula Leisure is currently assessing these new restrictions and guidelines in detail, with a view to engaging with Frankston City Council to ensure a reopening plan is in place, that is focused on both community activation and safety.

We look forward to sharing more details as soon as further information is available.
