Local cancer services vital for Frankston families
PARC is raising funds to help support Peninsula Health continue to provide important, world-class cancer services locally at Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals.
Being able to access cancer services – including tests, scans, treatment and check-ups – close to home is invaluable for the one in four people on the Mornington Peninsula that will be affected by cancer.
PARC is hosting a morning tea to support Peninsula Health’s ‘Take a Break’ campaign, on Friday 21 June – and everyone is invited.
“We’d love to see as many people as possible here on the morning. We encourage all our members and guests to stop, take a break and enjoy morning tea. Hosting a morning tea is one small thing we can do to help support this important local cause,” said Simon Beqir, PARC’s Centre Manager.
“Bring along a $5 donation and you can enjoy tea, coffee, yoghurts, scones, frittatas and lots of yummy goodies. By taking a break and raising much-needed funds, we can make a real difference in the lives of people around Frankston and on the Peninsula affected by cancer,” said Simon.
The PARC ‘Take a Break for Cancer’ morning tea is on Friday 21 June, 9.30–11am in the PARC café. Bring your friends, family and a $5 donation to help support this great local cause.
