We’re removing the Waitlist

We’re striving to make our group exercise classes more accessible.

Thank you for your ongoing feedback on the utilisation of our group exercise classes. We have listened to your feedback and are trying something new: we are temporarily removing the waitlist for group exercise classes and childcare bookings.

Here’s what you need to know:

What to expect when booking into a Group Exercise Class:

  • As usual, please book into a Group Exercise class via the Customer Portal.
  • Once a class is full, there will no longer be a waitlist.
  • When someone cancels from a class, a spot will open up in the portal.
  • When that spot opens up, any person can book in on a first come first serve basis (booking time frames for members and casuals still apply).
  • If there is not a spot available at the time you try to book, please keep checking back on the Portal regularly.
  • If you are booked into a class, and can no longer attend, please be sure to withdraw immediately to allow others to book.

How can you help?

Please cancel early. If you know you cannot attend a class, please withdraw right away. This will open up a spot for someone else to book in. If you need help with how to withdraw, please watch the “How To” video here or read the steps here.

We’re committed to improving access to all classes and sessions and your feedback is crucial in this process. You can share your thoughts and experiences with us by via our feedback form here – Feedback Form. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us improve class accessibility for everyone.

More People Can Swim summer programs are back - and it’s FREE!

This summer, Peninsula Leisure and Frankston City Council are helping more people in Frankston learn to swim and stay safe around water.

Our More People Can Swim initiative offers fully subsidised programs for teens, kids, and families this January, who would otherwise not have access to water safety education or swimming lessons.

💦 Build confidence in and around the water
💦 Learn vital life-saving water skills
💦 Join a fun, supportive community who is safer for summer

Simply complete an Expression of Interest form for your preferred program on our website here: https://peninsulaleisure.com.au/can-swim/

☀️ Expressions of Interest are open throughout November 2025, for programs running in January 2026.

💙 For questions, contact our friendly Can Swim team at can.swim@peninsulaleisure.com.au
