PINES set to open it’s gates for the 2026/2027 season

Mark the date in your calendars, PINES is set to open for what is guaranteed to be another incredible summer by the pool on Sunday 1 November!

Our PINES team are working hard in preparation for our season open, making sure the pool and all facilities are ready for our PINES community.

Welcome Jack Phillpotts, our new Centre Leader!
We are excited to introduce Jack Phillpotts, who will be taking on the role of PINES leader this season. If his face is familiar, that is because he has been part of the Peninsula Leisure team for 7 years. Over that time, Jack has been a Lifeguard as well as Duty Manager at both PARC and PINES, and recently has had a larger role in supporting the Aquatic Operations team as an Operations Officer.

Jack is looking forward to another big season at PINES, and being back with our incredible PINES community of lap swimmers, families an schools over the coming months.

“I’m so excited to be stepping into this role and can’t wait for what is shaping up to be another hugely successful and fun filled PINES Season! To get the opportunity to lead such an amazing centre with such a great community fills me with pride and I can’t wait for the season to get started.”

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Chiara McAuley, who was our PINES Centre Leader for the last three seasons. Chiara has played a big role in shaping the PINES experience enjoyed by the community today, leading the centre through three record-breaking seasons and helping it earn ARV Seasonal Facility of the Year in 2025, while creating a welcoming place for families, friends and visitors to make lasting summer memories.

Thank you Chiara for your hard work and dedication.

Introducing our 10 and Done workouts; guided activities that are designed to help you meet your 30-20-2 goals. Whether you’re after something light, something that gets your heart pumping, or strength exercises to build a stronger body, we have workouts to suit your needs.

To welcome back our incredible community, our sister Centre PINES is kicking the season off with a splash with two fun events.

☀️ Join us for our first Free Family Friday of the season on Friday 6 November. Enjoy free entry between 4pm-7pm and a yummy free sausage sizzle.

🏊 We’re welcoming back our lap swimmers with a free breakfast on Thursday 12 November. Head down between 7.00am-9.00am and enjoy an egg and bacon roll and hot drink (first 50 drinks) on us after your morning swim.

We look forward to celebrating kicking off the season with you!
