PARC reopens tomorrow | Thursday 18th Feb!

We’re thrilled to announce that following the Victorian Government press conference today, Wednesday 17th Feb we will be BACK OPEN tomorrow morning Thursday 18th Feb at 5am!

This means that Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) will reopen with the same COVID restrictions that were in place prior to closure, which includes capacity in small spaces and wearing masks. See our COVID information page for full terms of entry.

Pines Forest Aquatic Centre will also reopen on Thursday 18th February at 6am! Please visit the Pines website for more information. ​​

Important membership credit information

We will be applying a 5-day credit on your membership to the direct debit payment on THURSDAY 4th MARCH.

Please note: We were unable to apply this credit to tomorrow’s payment due to the late notice of the announcement. Therefore you will be charged your full membership fee tomorrow (Thursday 18th Feb) and the credit will apply in the next direct debit cycle (Thursday 4th March).

 

EXERCISE BOOKINGS OPEN AT 4PM TODAY!

We had to close Group Exercise class bookings upon closure and await Government announcement to confirm reopening. All class bookings will open for the next three days at 4pm today.

Please book via your MyPARC app or Group Exercise page on the website.

When will PARC and Pines reopen?
PARC will open its doors again on Thursday 18th Feb at 5am.
Pines will open on Thursday 18th Feb at 6am.
 
What restrictions are in place?
At this point, we revert back to the same COVID processes we had pre-closure. Please refer to the COVID information page on our website for more details.
 
When will you apply the credit to my membership?
All membership accounts will be credited for the 5 days of closure at the next direct debit cycle on Thursday 4th March.
 
How will you keep me informed any future changes?
We constantly update our website and social media as the Government makes any announcements. We also keep our members updated via email and sometimes SMS. It is important that you ensure all your contact details are up to date with our member experience team.

How you can get your 30-20-2 at PARC 💪

Our theme for this year is 30 or 20 plus 2, a simple formula to help you move more and reach the Australian Physical Guidelines.

Everyone’s fitness journey is different, and at PARC there are so many different ways you can achieve 30-20-2.

➡️ Moderate activity: enjoy a walk on the treadmill, try a Tai Chi or Yoga Class, or jump into the pool for some gentle lap swimming.

➡️ Vigorous activity: Join a HIIT class, try interval springing on the treadmill or bike, or  get moving with Zumba.

➡️ Strength session: Complete a body weight workout, enjoy weight lifting or try a Reformer Strength class.

These are just a few fantastic options that you can choose from at PARC. This year we want to support you moving in a way that suits you. Chat to one of our friendly gym floor team members or trainers to see how you can get your 30-20-2.

Calling all swimmers, the Frankston Swim Classic is back 🏊🏊‍♀️ 

Registrations are now open for the 3rd annual Frankston Swim Classic. Swim in the (hopefully!) calm and clear waters off Frankston beach and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Waterfront Festival. 

Date: Saturday 7 February 2026
Events: 400m, 1.2km and 2.5km open water bay swims, and the 700m kids beach run 🏃

Location: Frankston Yacht Club, Frankston Foreshore, Long Island Drive (via, Davey St), Frankston, Victoria, Australia

Dive into the world of water safety with Hydro! 🐙

Calling all kids aged 3–10 years old and their families! 

On Wednesday, 14 January, we are collaborating with our friends at Frankston City Libraries, to host a water safety story time at Frankston Library. With a special appearance from Hydro, we'll read our favourite water safety books, play exciting water-themed games, and learn simple ways to stay safe around water - whether at the beach, pool, or even in your own backyard!
