We’ve made changes to our Youth Memberships

It’s the new year and we wanted to let you know of some exciting changes we’ve made to our Youth Memberships. These changes are based on member feedback, to better cater to the needs of our young members and their health and fitness objectives.

WHAT’S NEW?

New age brackets: We have reviewed our age brackets and access levels and now have these 3 levels for membership:

Age Wrist band to be worn in Centre Access to gym Pools Group exercise classes
Active Teen 16 – 17 years Blue Unlimited Unlimited Unlimited, can book via the My PARC App
Active Youth 13 – 15 years Orange Unlimited Unlimited, excluding hydrotherapy area A selection of Youth specific Group Exercise classes
Active Kids 10 – 12 years Yellow Supervising Adult must be in the Centre Supervising Adult must be watching A selection of Youth specific Group Exercise classes

Time and supervision restrictions lifted: We are introducing increase supervised programming for our Youth Members which means that previous time and supervision restrictions have been lifted. Now, Active Teens and Active Youth can attend the gym anytime, without supervision. Active Kids require a Supervising Adult in the Centre.

Dedicated group exercise classes: We are introducing youth only group exercises classes, including Youth Circuit, Youth Strength and Youth Boxing. These strength-based classes will focus on education, with correct warm up, mobility and cool down. We also offer Family Boxing, which means you can go fisty-cuffs and have some fun with your little ones!

Strength training opportunities: Our Youth members have been telling us they want to do weights. We are introducing regular check ins and bespoke, personalised programs that may allow for some weight-based training. This will be assessed on a case by case.

All of this, and no additional fees! We are really excited about these changes.

If you have any questions, please speak to any of our trainers on the floor, or email healthandfitness@parcfrankston.com.au.

As the days get shorter and it gets darker earlier, we want to remind our members and patrons to please be safety conscious when arriving or leaving the facility.

Please remember to lock your car, don’t leave valuables visible in clear sight in your car, and keep your personal belongings in a locker while in Centre.

We encourage all patrons to be extra vigilant with their belongings.

As always if you have any concerns, please reach out to a member of our Customer Experience team.
