You asked, we delivered – New strength equipment incoming!

We’re thrilled to announce some significant updates to our gym equipment, all driven by the feedback from our valued members and the Health and Fitness team. Your suggestions have been instrumental in shaping these changes, and we’ve made a substantial investment to ensure that your fitness experience is both top-notch and in line with what you’ve asked for.

We’ve brought in state-of-the-art replacements and additions that cater directly to the needs and requests of our members.

Here’s what’s new to the gym from 27 August (from left to right):

  1. Replacement Calf Raise
  2. New Standing Leg Curl
  3. New Hack Squat
  4. New Leg Press

  1. Replacement Cable Machines (x2)
  2. Replacement Low Row
  3. Additional Smith Machine
  4. Additional 4 Station Connector
  5. New Reverse/Pec Fly Machine

To make room for the new equipment, we’ve retired some of the older ones that are showing signs of wear and tear, including two cable machines, an incline press, a decline bench press, a calf raise machine, and an outdated plate row machine.

more machines, more space, less wait times

One of the key benefits of this upgrade is the increased availability of machines, which should reduce your wait times during peak hours. By utilising previously unused space and adding a 4-station connector, we’re aiming to boost the number of available stations while maintaining smooth traffic flow in the gym.

We’ve also added some highly requested pieces of equipment, such as an additional Smith machine, a new leg press, a hack squat, and a hip abduction/adduction machine. These additions are designed to offer more variety and functionality in your workouts.

When is the new equipment coming?

The refit will take place over two days, with the old equipment removed on the 26th and our new shiny machines coming in on the 27th, with some works continuing into the 28th. The gym floor will continue to be fully operational with minimal disruptions as our equipment is swapped out.

Our commitment to you

This equipment upgrade represents our commitment to investing in our services and providing the best possible gym experience for our members. We’re dedicated to helping more people in Frankston stay active and healthy, and these improvements can help us achieve our goal.

We’d also like to extend a thank you for your patience as we bring the new equipment in. We’re excited for you to experience the enhanced gym space and can’t wait to see you making the most of the new equipment.

Did you know Dry Needling/Accupuncture is available from the Compass Allied Health team, located in our Allied Health Suites

Dry needling is a technique where a very fine needle is gently inserted into tight or painful muscles to release “knots” (trigger points). These tight spots can cause pain, stiffness, and reduced movement.

The goal? It help muscles relax, move better, and feel less painful.

Who can benefit?
• Athletes & active people
• Anyone with tight or stiff muscles
• Desk-related neck or back pain
• Headaches, sciatica, jaw pain (TMJ), or joint issues

Curious if dry needling is right for you? Get in touch with Compass Allied Health to book an initial consult with Jack (Giac).
⭐️ Swimming for a cause: Meet Clinton Hosie ⭐️

This February, PARC Aquatic Access member Clinton Hosie is taking on a new challenge - swimming 14km to raise funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation as part of their Super Swim.

Every minute of every day, a child in Australia is admitted to hospital. Clinton is diving in to help bring joy, laughter, and comfort to sick kids when they need it most.

We love seeing you at PARC putting in the laps, Clinton - your dedication in and out of the pool is inspiring.

Good luck, have fun, and thank you for swimming for such an important cause!

Still buzzing from the Waterfront Festival! 🎡

What an absolutely incredible event! A massive congratulations to our Frankston Skatepark team for pulling off such an massive activation. It was fantastic to see so many local riders on the half pipe, and seeing our community rally around them and enjoying the mini skate lessons!

Rotary Peninsula 2.0's annual Duck Derby was full of fun and chaos! It was so much fun cheering on our very own duck, Percy and Hydro, to the finish line.

Thank you so much @waterfrontfest for having us! We can’t wait for next year!
