Following the Victorian Government press conference today, Friday 12th Feb, there will be a temporary stage 4 lockdown for five days until 11.59pm on Wednesday 17th Feb.
This unfortunately means that Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) will close at 9.00pm on Friday 12th Feb and hope to reopen at 5.00am on Thursday 18th Feb, unless there is another Government announcement.
We understand that this will be huge inconvenience to all our members and hope that this shorter lockdown means a quick recovery from the recent outbreak. We anticipate we will be back open to normal operations by Thursday next week.
All members will be provided with a credit on your account for the five day closure that will be applied on the next direct debit payment on Thursday 4th March. Please see below some Frequently Asked Questions.
How to stay motivated during the five days
Don’t forget we have online programs to help you keep active during the five day closure.
- PARC Your Way: Our online digital website with hundreds of workouts available to do anytime anywhere. We will be sending through some suggested workout programs over the weekend to all our PARC Your Way subscribers, so if you haven’t already please sign up now for free.
- PARC Fit App: Every member has access to our PARC Fit App which includes programs to do at home and we will be updating these early next week. Search for PARC Fit in your App Store.

When will PARC close?

How long will PARC be closed for?
At this point, the Victorian Government has announced a temporary lockdown from 11.59pm on Friday 12th February until 11.59pm on Wednesday 17th February. We will be guided by advice from the Victorian Government as to when these restrictions will be lifted.
Will you charge me for my membership while you are closed?
No. All membership accounts will be credited for the 5 days of closure. This will be applied at the next direct debit payment on Thursday 4th March.
How will you tell us if something changes?
