Exciting news – A dedicated Reformer Pilates Studio is coming to PARC

We’re thrilled to bring you some exciting news. A dedicated Reformer Pilates Studio is coming to PARC! And for our Full Access members, access to the new Studio will be included as an additional membership benefit.

Where is the Studio?

We’re transforming our former childcare space into a welcoming, boutique-style Reformer Pilates Studio, complete with brand-new beds, state-of-the-art equipment, and an expanded timetable of instructor-led classes. The studio will also offer virtual and on demand Reformer Pilates.

How can I access the PARC Reformer Studio?

Access to the PARC Reformer Studio will be included in your Full Access membership at no extra cost.

Reformer Pilates is one of our most in-demand services, and we’ve heard your feedback – it’s hard to book into classes.

That’s why we’ve taken the time to redesign how we deliver Reformer Pilates and created a purpose-built space just for this service. This is a major step forward in creating more space, more access, and more of what you love here at PARC.

And now, we’re thrilled to confirm that from Thursday 29 May, all Full Access members can enjoy unlimited access to the new PARC Reformer Studio – at no additional cost.

What’s in the new PARC Reformer Studio?

  • A boutique, purpose-built Reformer Pilates space
  • 16 brand new beds, along with new industry-leading equipment
  • 10 additional instructor-led classes each week (now offering 43 live classes each week)
  • The PARC instructors you know and love delivering the expanded timetable
  • 4 signature PARC Reformer formats: Foundation, Cardio, Strength, and Athletic
  • Unlimited Virtual Kiosk Classes (bookable on 7 beds) – attend anytime that suits you
  • Unlimited On-Demand Access sessions (bookable on 9 beds) – attend anytime that suits you
  • PLUS all your usual benefits including access to the pools, gym and other Group Exercise classes

When is this happening?

The new studio will open on Thursday 29 May, with class bookings opening for members 3 days prior, on 26 May, as per your normal group exercise booking process.

What else is changing?

  • From 29 May, all current Reformer classes will move from Studio 2 to the new PARC Reformer Studio downstairs. An additional 10 classes will also be available on the timetable.
  • Studio 2 will continue to deliver your favourite class formats like Mat Pilates, Barre, Yoga, and Body Balance. Plus, we are including 6 additional classes as well as new formats like Les Mills Shapes, designed to accommodate more participants per class to maximise access.
  • We are reviewing the overall Group Exercise timetable to ensure that the class times and formats continue to meet member and community needs.

What do I need to do?

If you’re a Full Access member – there’s nothing you need to do. Just enjoy this exciting new Studio as part of your membership benefits.

If you’re on a different membership or not yet a PARC member, chat with our team about upgrading to Full Access so you can experience everything the new PARC Reformer Studio has to offer.

Did you know Dry Needling/Accupuncture is available from the Compass Allied Health team, located in our Allied Health Suites

Dry needling is a technique where a very fine needle is gently inserted into tight or painful muscles to release “knots” (trigger points). These tight spots can cause pain, stiffness, and reduced movement.

The goal? It help muscles relax, move better, and feel less painful.

Who can benefit?
• Athletes & active people
• Anyone with tight or stiff muscles
• Desk-related neck or back pain
• Headaches, sciatica, jaw pain (TMJ), or joint issues

Curious if dry needling is right for you? Get in touch with Compass Allied Health to book an initial consult with Jack (Giac).
⭐️ Swimming for a cause: Meet Clinton Hosie ⭐️

This February, PARC Aquatic Access member Clinton Hosie is taking on a new challenge - swimming 14km to raise funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation as part of their Super Swim.

Every minute of every day, a child in Australia is admitted to hospital. Clinton is diving in to help bring joy, laughter, and comfort to sick kids when they need it most.

We love seeing you at PARC putting in the laps, Clinton - your dedication in and out of the pool is inspiring.

Good luck, have fun, and thank you for swimming for such an important cause!
