Emmeline: Staff Spotlight

Emmeline: Staff Spotlight

Meet the lovely Emmeline, a lovable member of our PARC Personal Training team, who has recently completed her 17th Marathon of 42.2km!!

Emme competed in her 9th Melbourne Marathon earlier this month, and has also completed a few Ultra marathon runs, smashing distances of 135km, 100km, 80km & 55Km over the last ten years.

Emme is an absolute superstar , she puts so much dedication and hard work into completing in so many marathons, whilst completing her remedial massage therapist certification and being a mum of four. Extremely impressive!!

Emme specialises in helping members with their running goals and sporting performance. She has a diploma in Sport development and strength and conditioning goals. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience with 16 years’ experience in group exercise, running groups, Personal Training and Small Group Training.

What do some of our members say about Emme?

“I can never thank you enough for the way you carry out what I hoped someone would do in helping people in the group you take.” PARC Run Group Member

“Your leadership and role model of happiness, positivity and fun is the most totally effective program!” PARC Run Group Member

We also asked the woman of the moment a few questions herself.

What do you do in your downtime?

I go trail running in the bush, mountains basically off road. Enjoying the scenery and it’s my ‘me time’. It’s my meditation and relaxation time.

What advice would you give to anyone starting their own fitness journey?

As cliché as it sounds, just take the first step! For most taking the first step is the hardest part but once you have done that it gets easier from there. A lot of the times we have a belief around what the first step should look like. “When I’m 5 kg lighter I will join the pump class” or “ In the new year I will start training for my first run”. The time is now, just take the first step, we all start somewhere.

Well done Emme, you’re an inspiration to us all, and we are all incredibility proud of you!!

Did you know that our vision is that 'Every Child In Frankston Can Swim'?🌳👶🏻

The Rotary Peninsula 2.0's Birth Tree is one way that's helping us to achieve this vision. ⚙️

By joining the Birth Tree, you get your child's name on this year's plaque. Plus through the Birth Tree, $45 of every contribution goes straight back to PARC and PINES to help more children build confidence in the water. Your contribution will go directly to funding baby swim programs. It's a great gift to welcome a child into our ever-growing community in Frankston.🏊

You can purchase a place for a baby born this year on the birth tree by heading to our website in the link below. Or for older children, you can add them to the Family Garden. Find out more in the link in our bio.
