Christmas and New Year’s Opening Hours 2023

PARC Centre opening hours

Saturday 9 December: 7am – 6pm
Monday 18 December – Friday 22 December: Normal hours 5am – 9pm
Christmas Eve Sunday 24 December: 7am – 6pm
Christmas Day Monday 25 December: Closed
Boxing Day Tuesday 26 December: 7am – 7pm
Wednesday 27 – Friday 29 December: Normal hours 5am – 9pm
New Years Eve Sunday 31 December: 7am – 6pm
New Year’s Day Monday 1 January: 7am – 7pm

PARC Waterslide opening hours

PARC Swim

Lessons will finish on Sunday 17 December. We will be busy over the school holidays preparing for the start of Term 1, when lessons resume on Monday 29 January.

PARC Group Exercise Timetable

Please note that for Group Exercise, we will have a limited instructor led timetable available over the Christmas period. Throughout January we will slowly ramp up the number of instructor led classes. You can view the timetable via the Customer Portal here.

PARC Café

Friday 30 December: 9:00am – 3:00pm
New Years Eve Saturday 31 December: 9:00am – 3:00pm
New Year’s Day Sunday 1 January: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Please note a limited menu will also be in place on these days.

PARC Childcare

Childcare’s last day for the year will be Friday 22 December and will reopen on Monday 8 January 2024.

Please allow a minimum of three business days to process enrolment forms. You can download the 2024 Enrolment form HERE.

What’s on at PARC these summer holidays?

Gather your pirate crew and embark on a thrilling adventure in a far-away tropical land, right in the heart of Frankston! 

This school holiday season, PARC has prepared the ultimate escape for the entire family. If the sun outside is scorching, worry not, because PARC has you covered with an indoor, pirate-themed school program that’s suitable for children of all ages. 

We’ve lined up a treasure trove of activities for you, including: 

Face painting  
Balloon entertainment 
Treasure Scavenger hunt 
A special visit from Marianna the Mermaid

  Marianna will be visiting PARC on Friday, January 5th, and Friday, January 19th. Please be prepared for a busier-than-usual centre on these days.  

Our school holiday program will run on weekdays from Tuesday, January 2nd to Thursday, January 25th, between 11am and 3pm. 

 Please note that activities will be scheduled on select days, so make sure to consult our calendar below for dates and times of all the poolside entertainment.

How you can get your 30-20-2 at PARC 💪

Our theme for this year is 30 or 20 plus 2, a simple formula to help you move more and reach the National Physical Activity Guidelines.

Everyone’s fitness journey is different, and at PARC there are so many different ways you can achieve 30-20-2.

➡️ Moderate activity: enjoy a walk on the treadmill, try a Tai Chi or Yoga Class, or jump into the pool for some gentle lap swimming.

➡️ Vigorous activity: Join a HIIT class, try an interval session on the treadmill or bike, or get moving with Zumba.

➡️ Strength session: Complete a body weight workout, enjoy weight lifting or try a Reformer Strength class.

These are just a few fantastic options that you can choose from at PARC. This year we want to support you moving in a way that suits you. Chat to one of our friendly gym floor team members or trainers to see how you can get your 30-20-2.

Calling all swimmers, the Frankston Swim Classic is back 🏊🏊‍♀️

Registrations are now open for the 3rd annual Frankston Swim Classic. Swim in the (hopefully!) calm and clear waters off Frankston beach and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Waterfront Festival.

Date: Saturday 7 February 2026
Events: 400m, 1.2km and 2.5km open water bay swims, and the 700m kids beach run 🏃

Location: Frankston Yacht Club, Frankston Foreshore, Long Island Drive (via, Davey St), Frankston, Victoria, Australia

Expressions of Interest Now Open – New Can Swim Programs kicking off in February and March

We’re added 2 new fully subsidised Can Swim programs to our calendar – a 3 day program for infants in Feb, and a 5 week program for adults in March.

Delivered by Peninsula Leisure with the support of Frankston City Council, these More People Can Swim programs are 100% FREE for eligible participants.

👶 Can Swim Infant Water Familiarisation (3-Day Program – PARC) 👶
Who: Children aged 6 months – 2 years 11 months (with a parent/carer in the water)
What: Learn water familiarisation fundamentals and build early safety skills together
When: Mon 23, Wed 25 & Fri 27 February 2026
Sessions: 30 mins at 8:30am or 11:10am

🧑 Can Swim Adult Program (5 Weeks – PARC) 🧑
Who: Adults 18+, complete swimming beginners or those with low water confidence
What: Build swimming skills, water confidence, survival & rescue skills
When: Commencing week of 2 March 2026
Sessions: Tuesdays & Thursdays – 2:55pm or 6:45pm
Includes access to PARC & Pines for practice between sessions
