We’ve supported hundreds of local school students at our PARC Swim Schools program!
We provide a PARC Swim Schools program that not only aligns with the Victorian Curriculum but also gets students active. The program incorporates essential swimming and water safety skills for school-age children in the community, whilst having lots of fun!
Victoria is now the highest government funded state in Australia for school swimming lessons with each and every public and Catholic primary school receiving significant monetary support toward swimming and water safety activities for all students.

What we offer
- Five or more days of daily swimming and water safety lessons
- Ability-based groups
- Access to a 50m pool (divided into 2 x 25m spaces) with depths of 1.35-2.1m for established swimmers
- Access to a Learn To Swim Pool with depth of 0.6 -1m for beginner learners
- 45 minute lessons by teachers with AUSTSWIM or equivalent qualification who attend regular professional development and training opportunities.
- Assessment of children prior to and during the program
- Program aligned with the Victorian Curriculum with water safety a key theme throughout.
- One day dedicated for students to apply their skills in real-life simulations by wearing clothes in the water and practicing self-preservation and rescue skills appropriate to their skill level
- Access to separate change room facilities
- A swim cap for each child
- A certificate for each child outlining the skills they have achieved
- Dedicated deck staff to attend to any needs throughout the program
- All our intensive programs offer the Victorian Water Safety Certificate as an optional inclusion from Year 4 onwards.
Cost
Ratio 1:8- $13.60* per student per day
Ratio 1:6- $15.60* per student per day

Times Available
Our school lessons run in 45min back to back lesson blocks beginning at 10:30am and finishing at 3:00pm or any time in between. Access to the 25m pool can be arranged from 10:30am and the shallower Learn To Swim pool is available for school programs from 12:00 midday.

Water Safety Incursions
What we offer
- A water safety session in your facility
- 45 min or 30 min sessions depending on age
- Activities include – What is safe/not safe by water, reading and understanding safety signs, songs and circle time activities, life jacket experience.

- 30 min lessons by AUSTSWIM (or equivalent) trained teachers
- Program aligned with the Victorian Curriculum with water safety a key theme throughout.

- Dedicated on-deck staff to attend to any needs throughout the program
- Access to shallow Learn to Swim pool during lessons

Life Saving Victoria Lifesaving Education Program
What we offer
PARC Swim Schools, in partnership with Life Saving Victoria, provides the Open Water (beach and bay) Lifesaving Education Program at our local Frankston Life Saving Club. The program includes:
- Life Saving Victoria partnered program
- Specially qualified instructors for open water instruction
- Programming including – Be Aware/ Be Prepared, Rescue Strategies, Everyday Lifesaving (DRSABCD), Survival Strategies and Safe Boarding.
- The use of PARC as a backup facility should weather or water quality impact the program
- Partnership with Frankston Life Saving Club to utilise their facilities
- Provide all relevant equipment
