At Peninsula Leisure we hugely value the work of Allied Health Professionals in keeping our community active and living healthy lives. We fully support your use of PARC as a place to help facilitate your clients’ health needs and progress.

Context

Late last year, we underwent a review of our Allied Health Professionals access requirements to PARC.

To ensure fairness, consistency and transparency, from Monday 3 October, we re-introduced our pre-COVID access fees with no amendments for all Allied Health Professional and their clients when using PARC and our services.

This re-introduction was part of our initial process review, and we committed to reviewing this again in the new calendar year, which is now upon us.

As you would be aware, we have a third-party health services team Lifecare, who operate inhouse from within the PARC facility. We respect that there are other providers within the community seeking to support clients to exercise and undertake rehab at PARC. We seek to balance the needs of all providers in a professionally appropriate way, to ensure our community can access the care and specialist providers that they require. We also acknowledge that free access is not fit-for-purpose and a process for entry fees (for professional services) is required.

As part of this review, we would like to get a better understanding of what type of Allied Health Professionals are using our facility, what areas/services your clients are using within PARC, and how many clients attend PARC with you. This will help us to ensure the process for accessing the facility is fit-for-purpose and appropriate for our community. To help us understand this, please complete our survey below.
